Quilting Class Information:

Tuesday Night Quilting class for Gander area. The Fat Quarter Quilting and Fabric is more than just a mobile and online location. We also offer quilting classes. This class is offered on Tuesday nights within the Gander, Newfoundland area, however, we can also arrange to travel to your retreat. 

These classes are not virtual. They are physical classes that run for 7 weeks, at one night per week. The cost of each class is $20 per class, which is paid in full prior to the start of the course.

There are 2 different quilting patterns offered for this class for a participant to choose from. Once you choose your pattern, you can purchase your material at our online or mobile location in order to be prepared for your class.

This class runs from 6pm to 9pm at Evangel Pentecost Community Centre on 130 Magee Road, Gander, NL. If entering Gander Highway from St. John's, cut off on Magee Road, just past the Hospital on the right hand side. Pass by Cobbs Pond on the left, and the Community Centre/Church is on the right hand side.

Materials:

You will be required to bring your sewing machine, sewing notions (scissors, rippers, cutters, cutting mat, etc.). We do have a small number of these items in-class if required, but to prevent delay in assembly it is highly encouraged you bring your own. If you need to purchase any of the above notions, we also sell these at our mobile location. We also sell all materials required for the class. You are required to purchase your quilt kit from us. There are ironing boards and ironing stations in set areas within our location, so it is not necessary to bring your own.
